Both stylish enough for casual work days and rugged enough for light hiking, it?s a great travel shoe, too. I have high arches and use orthotics with this shoe, as I do with all my shoes. The only difficult (and it?s a minor one) is the elastic band across the front of the shoe (behind the tongue) make getting the shoe on a little difficult, but the reward is a nice snug fit. Always a Classic! I really remember these shoes from the late 70's and they still look and fit the same. They have a simple classic elegance and (in my opinion) look great with Levis 501's. They are very flexible and light and are comfortable without socks. The only con with these shoes is that the insoles are as flat as a board. I really need arch support with my shoes so I added some 3/4 length insoles - voila instant support. These shoes run very true to size or maybe even slightly large. So if you normally wear a size 9, then order a size 9! Without socks and depending on your foot build, one might even need an 8.5. Almost there. I have gone through many pairs of shoes trying to find an elegant yet comfortable shoe that has a moderate heel and fits my foot (I have a long big toe and wide-ish ball of foot area). This one almost made it. It does indeed have more room in the front than most, but my toe was pressing into the shoe painfully even though I went half a size larger than normal. If I went any bigger, I am afraid it would feet very loose in the front, even for my feet. The look was also a bit cheap-ish, not as good as in the picture. The black croc pattern actually looks like dark brown in person.

Almost a home run with these shoes - I have a short and extremely wide foot with a high arch and find shopping for shoes--especially online--very challenging. I almost hit a home run with these shoes. They fit very comfortably and look good enough to wear in business situations. My only complaint is that I wish the elastic straps were a little looser.
